Abraham SNOW:
Ann BEER:
Died Saturday 1 May 1858, Spring Creek, Typhoid fever1
Both Elizabeth Farrelly (nee Sharp) and Patrick V. Morgan tell a similar story about Ann's family:
Her husband came out to Australia first. Ann had some kind of physic experience (vision or tarot reading ?) which indicated she would no see her husband alive again if she did not go out to Australia. She went with two small children (a boy and a girl).
Elizabeth was told that she survived long enough to be re-united with her husband, but died soon afterwards. Wasn't sure what happened to father but it's said he was heart-broken and either died or returned to England. Both Kemp children were adopted out to the Summerville Family.
Patrick was told that she was re-united with her husband, but he died soon afterwards. She re-married and then died soon afterwards.
Patrick's research has since discovered that Ann re-married BEFORE she came out and that she arrived with her two children from the previous marriage (aged 5 and 7), her 2nd husband and their daughter (aged 3). They had another child and then both parent died soon after.
